The Museu Vale Extramuros is participating in the 18th Spring of Museums promoted by IBRAM, which will take place between September 24th and 29th, with the theme “Museums, Accessibility and Inclusion”. Reaffirming its commitment to inclusion and accessibility, the museum will offer a diverse program throughout the week, including educational and training activities aimed at valuing diversity and promoting access to art and culture.

During the week, the public will be able to participate in guided tours, lectures and artistic presentations, all designed to welcome plurality. The activities will include a guided tour with storytelling, a training lecture on accessibility in cultural environments, as well as a dance performance that explores the experiences and recognition of the space in which we are inserted.

The event will close with the “Spring Weekend”, which will feature educational activities using the Interactive Suitcases in the Educational Room of the Museu Vale Extramuros in the Vale Botanical Park, reinforcing the role of the museum as an agent of memory and inclusion.
