Meu Santo Samba is a project by singer Elaine Augusta, inspired by the great female voices in the history of Brazilian samba. It is a tribute to Afro-Brazilian culture, celebrating the Orixás who dance both in the terreiros and to the beats of this sacred rhythm for the black people in our country.

In this project, the singer joins Wilis Lilinho, on the 7-string guitar, and tambourine player Júlio D’Black. The repertoire features original sambas and emblematic songs immortalized by black women who left their mark on the genre, such as Jovelina Pérola Negra, Dona Ivone Lara, Leci Brandão, Mariene de Castro, Mart’nália, among others.
