Museu Vale continues its Exhibition Production training focused on training activities with the presentation of some of the disciplines that involve this specific knowledge.

The eighth module, developed by Amanda Freitas, presents accessibility as a fundamental right to ensure that all people, regardless of their condition, have access to culture. With a theoretical and practical approach, the course trains professionals to implement accessible strategies in exhibitions and educational activities, contributing to more equitable and inclusive cultural environments for people with disabilities and neurodivergence.

Lesson 02: Strategies for an Accessible Museum

Lesson 03: Implementation and Simulation of Accessible Visits (Exhibition Transiting Time)


Amanda Freitas

Amanda Freitas is a museologist, consultant and specialist in cultural accessibility, with over 16 years of experience in the inclusion of People with Disabilities in museums and cultural spaces. With a Master’s degree in Museology and a specialist in Cultural Accessibility, she is a managing partner of Museus Acessíveis. She has worked at MAR, Instituto Butantan and CCBB Educativo, coordinating teams and implementing educational programs for people with disabilities and neurodivergence. Her career is marked by the creation of innovative practices for the democratization of access to culture.
