Art in the City: Amarelaço – Graffiti in Childhood, with Fred Farias
 08.Out a 10.Out

 Suitable for all ages.

The Amarelaço – Graffiti in Childhood workshop, with visual artist Fred Farias, is part of the Art in the City Educational Project program at the Museu Vale, and uses the language of urban and visual arts to promote access to the city and value the right to play. The activity seeks to reaffirm play not only as an instrument of psychomotor development, but also as a cultural and collective experience. Through graffiti, street games such as hopscotch, snail, and “furingo” (street football) are revisited, rescuing the playful character of public spaces and stimulating community interaction among children.
