Kebrada Festival – Espírito Santo Edition
 22.Out a 25.Out
 Suitable for all ages.

Museu Vale, in partnership with the Vale Maranhão Cultural Center, invites you to the Espírito Santo edition of the Kebrada Festival, an event that celebrates and strengthens urban culture and its artistic expressions. The program will take place between October 22nd and 25th at Hub ES+, in Vitória, and at the Casa do Governador Cultural Park, in Vila Velha, with free activities open to the public.

“The Kebrada Festival highlights urban culture as a creative force and a space for the elaboration of worlds. For the Museu Vale, bringing this event to Espírito Santo is to stimulate the protagonism of youth, their gestures, sounds and bodies, and to strengthen art as a field of listening, education, dialogue and social transformation,” says the director of the Museu Vale, Claudia Afonso.

Created in 2018 by the Vale Maranhão Cultural Center, the Kebrada Festival arrives in Espírito Santo with a wide-ranging program, including workshops in haircutting with Barbeiro Sayajin, braiding with Afrorare, and the Sustainable Verses Training, a project that uses hip-hop as a tool for environmental education for teenagers. This training, aimed at young people aged 12 to 17, promotes the pursuit of environmental preservation through creative writing and improvisation, fostering reflection and social change. This edition is curated by Juane Vaillant, Noventa, and Museu Vale.

The public can also attend the lecture “Hip-hop as a career,” with Afari, Starley Bonfim, and Juane Vailant, followed by a performance of Slam Xamego. The closing event, on the 25th, will be at the Casa do Governador Cultural Park, featuring DJ Negana, the Ritmo Forte Drumline, a rap battle with Noventa and DJ Chapola, a show by the artist Afronta, and a performance by the Orquestra da Quebrada, with special appearances by Tibery, Dudu MC, and Budah. In addition to the Festival’s attractions, the Museu Vale joins the Casa do Governador Cultural Park in the Parque Aberto program, which welcomes singer and songwriter Rico Dalasam.

The Kebrada Festival – Espírito Santo Edition is an initiative of the Museu Vale and the Vale Cultural Institute, in partnership with the Vale Maranhão Cultural Center, sponsored by Vale and carried out by the Ministry of Culture through the Incentive to Culture Law. The Espírito Santo edition also has the partnership of the State Secretariat of Culture of Espírito Santo.
