The workshop “Moving Image: Kites and Photography,” led by photographer and visual artist Ana Luzes, proposes the creation and personalization of kites as an artistic medium, integrating photography, drawing, painting, and collage.

Each participant will receive a white kite and will be invited to transform it into a moving image, as well as make their own kite tail. The activity stimulates creativity, a sensitive eye, and individual expression, culminating in a collective experience of symbolic occupation of the sky.

Ana Luzes is a visual artist with a degree in Photography from the University of Vila Velha (ES). She held the solo exhibition “Genesis: The Creation” at the Homero Massena Gallery (Vitória/ES), and acted as co-curator and researcher for the traveling exhibition “Favela é Giro”, from the Museu das Favelas (SP), presented at MAES. Her work is born before the image: in the sketch, in the suspended time of observation, in attentive listening and in the gesture of creating without haste.
