The Educational Center of the Vale Museum, in partnership with researcher and historian Marcus Vinicius Sant’ana, proposes the Intangible Heritage Educational Action – Contemporary Quilombos, fostering reflection on the different meanings of Quilombo today. The activity addresses its historical construction, the concept of cultural quilombo, and the collective experiences that strengthen identity and belonging in diverse territories.
By engaging with these perspectives, the action invites the public to recognize, in their own daily lives, other forms of social organization and ways of facing current challenges.
