The dialectical drum emerged as a drum and circle exercise, taking as a reference the jongo practiced in the Sapê do Norte quilombola territory, located in Espírito Santo. The workshop offers an experience that integrates the languages of drum and clay, highlighting the philosophical dimension of the festivals in devotion to Saint Benedict in the Sapê do Norte quilombola territory. It will be built from the experience of drumming and games in the form of a circle, demonstrating the relationships between Afro-Brazilian musical production and the political and philosophical experience of its agents. It is aimed at artists, researchers, and educators who seek to establish a philosophical dialogue closer to the reality of students, both from the practical perspective of the classroom and from the theoretical/methodological perspective of scientific research.
